Services

When you arrive at Friendship Veterinary Hospital, you can expect quality care for your pet.
When you arrive you will be greeted warmly as we check you in.
We will do our best to make sure you are brought into an examination room as soon as we have one available. Our goal is to make sure all of our patients are seen on time, but there will be times the occasional unexpected delay due to an emergency or because we are providing care for a patient that needs a little more time. Please accept our apologies should this occur, and understand that the same dedication and courtesy will be provided to your pet should they ever need it.
Here’s what to expect during your visit:
  • Once checked in, one of our team members will see you into the exam room and weigh your pet.
  • A veterinarian will then meet you, gather basic information about your pet’s health, examine your pet, talk about any questions or concerns you may have and plan further diagnostics or treatment as needed.
  • Any recommended diagnostics tests (i.e. blood work) and treatments are usually performed in one of our treatment rooms.
  • When the veterinary consultation is complete, you’ll go back to our front reception area where your billing and future appointment bookings will be handled.
  • Depending on the reason for your visit, you may expect a follow-up call from one of our veterinary technicians or assistants to get an update on how your pet has been doing since their visit. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to speak with them.
Friendship Veterinary Hospital is now requiring a $40 deposit for all new client appointments. The deposit will go towards your first visit.

We hope you enjoy your visit and the service we provide, and we would be delighted to see you again.

Preventive Services

Boarding

Picture

At Friendship Veterinary Hospital, we offer safe, comfortable, and caring boarding services for furry, scaly, or flighted guests. Our boarding facility is equipped with newly renovated, spacious runs for dogs and comfortable kennels in a quieter separate room for our smaller guests. Kennel technicians regularly check on the pets and you have the added benefit of knowing that one of our veterinarians will promptly begin treatment if your pet gets sick during their stay.
*To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, we require that pets be up to date on all vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, and have a current negative fecal test. This helps us maintain a clean and disease-free environment for every pet in our care. We will be happy to provide your pet with a dose of flea/tick prevention if needed upon boarding with us.

During your pet’s stay we provide the following  :
-
Soft, warm, and, comfortable bedding which is switched out every day and as needed
-Clean food and water bowls
-Fresh litter and litter boxes every day for our felines
-We follow your pet’s specific feeding routine as well as any daily medications. Please be sure to bring enough food and medication for their entire stay.

For added convenience, we offer a variety of services for an additional fee to keep your pet looking and feeling their best; including :
-Bathing and Brushing :  A refreshing bath with aloe & oatmeal shampoo to keep your pet clean and comfortable followed by a thorough brushing session.
     * If your pet requires a medicated shampoo, simply bring it with you ; we will ensure they receive their treatment while under our care.
-Nail Trims - Regular nail trims help to prevent overgrown nails and discomfort.
-Anal Gland Expressions - Noticing your pet scooting or smelling a fishy scent? Anal gland expressions can ensure your pet’s comfort and hygiene.
Our goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both you and your pet. Whether they need a short overnight stay or a longer visit, you can trust us to give them the care and attention they deserve.
