Dr. Diana Sandstrom is a Virginia Beach native who has been passionate about animals and veterinary medicine for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Cox High School before attending Old Dominion University and later Virginia Tech, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Sandstrom has developed a broad range of veterinary experience, with a particular appreciation for the human-animal bond and the role pets play in their families’ lives. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, thoughtful care while helping pet owners feel informed and comfortable throughout their pets’ medical journeys.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Sandstrom is a mom to two children, who keep her busy and remind her every day of the importance of compassion, patience, and a little humor. When she isn’t caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, bird watching, hiking, biking, and reading
